The extension stores the selected dance, dance size and position, sound preference, local dance count, daily streak, user-managed site list, site timer totals, and optional supporter-license state using chrome.storage.local. This information remains in the user's Chrome profile unless the user clears extension data or removes the extension.
When a user explicitly presses the dance button, Chrome grants temporary access to the current tab so Mambo Break can insert the selected transparent dance. For site breaks, the extension checks the active tab's domain and compares it with the user's site list. It does not read, store or transmit page text, forms, cookies, browsing history or other page content.
Optional supporter payments are hosted and processed by Dodo Payments. Mambo Break never receives or stores card or bank information. If a user enters a license key, the key is stored locally and sent to Dodo Payments' public license service solely for activation and validation. Dodo Payments handles checkout information under its own privacy terms.
Mambo Break includes no analytics SDK, advertising network, fingerprinting, cross-site tracking or data broker integration.
No page content, browsing history or local dance statistics are shared. An optional license key is sent only to Dodo Payments for the supporter feature requested by the user.
Users can deactivate the current browser from the extension popup, which asks Dodo Payments to release that license activation and then clears the local key. Removing Mambo Break from Chrome deletes its locally stored extension data. Users may contact support for questions about Dodo-managed purchase records.
